CECO targets majority participations in established software companies. Our portfolio companies comply with two types of investment criteria: Company criteria and Participation criteria.
The investment process ideally and typically spans a period of three to four months at most. This period of time may possibly be shortened, namely by the provision of all essential documents required for our assessment of the company. It is our policy to sign a non-disclosure agreement prior to receiving a detailed business plan.
A clear formulation of the USPs and the customer benefit including an objective assessment of the competitive situation by the management are the key to the market position and the growth prospects of the company.
We see our principal task as providing support to companies in the optimization of the company concept, thus contributing to a sustainable increase in value and exploitation of all the potential. In this connection, we pay particilar attention to:
well-established product and service ranges

scalable business model
strong customer base
discernable growth and optimization potential
